TV Mounting & Sound

Get the cinema look. Professional wall mounting with hidden cables for a sleek finish.

Why Choose HJB Electrical for TV Mounting

Hidden Cables

No more messy wires hanging down the wall. We install recessed power points and data cables behind the TV, feeding cables through the wall cavity for a 100% wireless look.

Secure Bracket Installation

We use heavy-duty brackets and ensure they are anchored securely into studs or masonry. Your TV isn't going anywhere.

Soundbar & Home Theatre

We can also mount your soundbar and set up surround sound systems to complete your home entertainment experience.

Articulating Wall Mounts

Need to view your TV from multiple angles? Full-motion mounts let you pull, tilt, and swivel your TV for the perfect viewing position from anywhere in the room.

Media Cabinet Setup

Keep your Foxtel, Apple TV, PlayStation, and other devices neatly organised in a cabinet or cupboard. We run HDMI extenders and IR repeaters so everything works seamlessly.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

We can supply high-quality flat, tilt, or full-motion brackets, or we can install one you have purchased yourself.

Yes, but it depends on the wall structure and heat. We'll assess the location first to ensure it's safe for your TV electronics.

For solid walls, we can chase the cable into the brick (and patch it) or use sleek surface-mounted trunking. Cavity walls allow us to hide them completely inside the wall.

The centre of the TV should be at eye level when seated—typically around 110cm from the floor. For bedrooms, slightly higher (around 120-130cm) works better for viewing from bed.

Flat brackets hold the TV flush against the wall. Tilt brackets allow angling down (good for above-fireplace mounts). Full-motion brackets extend, swivel, and tilt for maximum flexibility.

Yes. We use heavy-duty brackets rated for the weight and ensure proper stud mounting. Two people are required for safe lifting and installation of large TVs.

Yes. A recessed power point directly behind the TV eliminates visible cables and allows the TV to sit flush against the wall. This is our recommended approach.

Yes. We can connect and configure your Foxtel, Apple TV, Chromecast, PlayStation, and other devices. We'll tune channels and ensure everything works before we leave.

We strongly prefer mounting into studs for safety. If studs aren't available, we can use heavy-duty wall anchors for smaller TVs, or install a backing board for larger ones.

Yes. We mount soundbars either directly to the wall or attach to the TV bracket (if compatible). Cables are concealed in the wall along with the TV cables.

A basic mount with cable concealment takes 1-2 hours. Brick walls or full media setups may take longer.
